More than 60 members of the Shropshire Horticultural Society came together at the Shirehall Council Chamber, Shrewsbury, last night (Monday 13th February) for the Society’s Annual General Meeting.

This year Shrewsbury Flower Show will be celebrating its 125th event and plans are well under way to make the show bigger and better than ever! Event organisers are inviting everyone to get involved, and what better way than creating your very own show garden?

Organisers of the Shrewsbury Flower Show announced celebrity chef, James Martin, will be headlining the 2012 event. James has made a great impact since he appeared on our televisions in 1996 and he has rarely been off our screens since. The hugely popular Saturday Kitchen attracts a wide audience and James also gained a whole new fan base following his prowess on the dance floor in Strictly Come Dancing.
