Getting Here

Shrewsbury is located in the county of Shropshire on the border of Wales and is approximately 3 hours from London, an hour or so from Manchester and only 40 minutes from Birmingham.

The Show is held in the town centre park called the Quarry, through which the River Severn flows. The park also contains the splendid Dingle Gardens designed by the late TV gardener, Percy Thrower.

 

 

How to get here

By Car: 

Shrewsbury connects to the M6 and motorway network via the M54.

The A49, A5, A53, A458 all make Shrewsbury easily accessible. 

To plan your journey, use AA Route Planner.

AA Road Signs will guide you to the Shrewsbury Flower Show as you approach the outskirts of Shrewsbury. These will guide you to the nearest Car Park with spaces.   

By Rail: 

Shrewsbury is linked by a regular main line rail service. For rail timetables, please visit the National Rail Website or phone 08457 48 49 50.

By Bus and Coach:

National Express operate coaches into many of the towns in Shropshire, please telephone 08705 808080.

Severn Dee Travel provides detailed information and assistance on travelling within Shropshire, telephone 01691 681010. Information is also available from TravelLine Midlands.

 

 

Parking

Please follow the yellow AA Road Signs for the Shrewsbury Flower Show as you approach the outskirts of Shrewsbury. These will guide you to the nearest Car Park with spaces.  

Please Note - There is no parking within the Showground.

Disabled Parking

Car Parking for the Disabled is available at Frankwell Car Park, from where a Disability Shuttle service will operate to and from the Main Entrance of the Showground.  This service will be available between the hours of 9.30am and 7.30pm.  Drivers should follow the AA road signs for Shrewsbury Flower Show – COACH PARKING please notify the Car Park attendant as your arrive.

Drop off Disabled Passengers

Disabled badge holders  may be permitted by the local Police to drop off disabled passengers outside the Main Gate, before parking their vehicles.

Due to livestock being at the Show,  no dogs with the exception of assistance dogs are allowed.

Event Mobility Charitable Trust

Event Mobility Charitable Trust will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the show.

To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair either print out an advance booking form from our website www.eventmobility.org.uk or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.
